Hey guys, all started around the beginning of November, the daytime running lights seemed to be acting up on my 2009 Mazda B2300, without the key even in the ignition. Brought it to Mazda and they replaced the smart junction box, although they said they werent sure if that was the problem (warranty job). Now the truck's not covered under warranty and it's still happening. I've had some people say it could be a relay, but has anyone on here had this problem? At first it started in damp weather it seemed, now its to the point where the headlights are almost stuck on and I have to disconnect the negative terminal when I'm not using the truck. Any help is appreciated.

Hopefully other canadian members can help you, as the Ranger/mazda's sold in the U.S. do not have DRL's.

Hey guys, brought her into mazda and it appears the headlight switch had failed, they have the part on order and Ill let you all know how it turns out.

Sure enough it was a failed headlight switch, the warranty still covered it but I think it would have only been about $35 for the part if it wasnt. Thanks again.
