He mentioned he had one, so I suggested it. Could you please go elsewhere if you want to argue? I know you like to hate, but do not bring it into tech threads. Thank you.

Correcting your misinformation for the benefit of the OP is not hating or arguing. I'm posting in this tech thread because I know the answer to his question. In fact I was the only one to answer it correctly before the mods had to come in and clean up all your BS (again). Hopefully they come in and delete that one too, adding to the list.

Default adding an extra or auxillary alternator

Hi everyone

We fitted a secondary 130amp alternator to a ranger for a shooting club !

They went out all night lamping and using huge spotlights all round and were always getting flat batteries or cut outs etc and more recently burning alternators out.

We added a secondary alternator running off the engine and charging a second battery which was incharge of running all the additional lighting etc ! They have never had a problem and still have loads and loads and loads of power left to add more lights if they wish !

We have also done this for a car audio guru who just kept asking for more volume !

So, being taught about the vehicle electrical system by someone who is very respected in that field and telling someone what I learned is misinformation? Interesting.

There's nothing wrong with discussing the accuracy of information. Please do not try to turn a technical debate into a personal dispute. Thank you.

Only when what you're trying to teach is wrong or has no bearing on the discussion.
