Default 1999 2.5L tach install

i've installed many tachs before, but in older vehicles with a simple coil (green wire to negative side) but now i have a 1999 ranger 2.5L and it has dual coil packs for the 8 spark plugs and i dont know where to hook the green wire? please help me, thank you

where is the powertrain control module located at ? is it the one in the fire wall ,in the engine bay

The PCM is the computer that's in the engine bay in the passenger side of the fire wall with a big harness of wires going to it. The wire is in that. This is where I spliced into it. But that wire has to go back into the cab to plug into the dash cluster since some trucks have a factory tach. So I'd look for that color wire in the plug in gauge cluster(wish I did it that way). I'm pretty sure it's there
