Wipers, speedometer, odometer, dome light dont work help me please - Page 2

I have same problem. All the same will not work but truck will not start either. I pulled instrument cluster and found a melted wire that ran from the dimming switch for the dash light to the radio which had a couple melted wires. I have pulled dash fixed wires and still nothing I'm gonna replace GEM module and hope it will run again. Let me know if the GEM works for u and look at those wires that may be Ur problem

YUP! Because I changed the fuse at LEAST 4 times and it blew the fuse as soon as I put it in.

Will do! I just haven't had the cash to attack this. Since I can't do it myself, it's gonna be EXPENSIVE.

I have a 1995 as well with the same problems. Did replacing the GEM solve your issues?

It is NOT the fuse for the windshield wiper motor !! It is the fuse for the G E M !

It was slot 26 on 02 ranger . 10 amp

AIr bag , speedometer , keychime ALL WORK now!

on mine it was the fuse for the GEM , NOT the GEM 10 amp ...slot 26 on 02 ranger
