I followed a few threads in here when I got in the truck one morning and couldn't get it out park and had no brake lights. Changed the brake switch, installed a new fuse and even located the wire that had grounded the whole thing out(Canopy light connector got caught in the frame when I shut it the night before), fixed that.

Now why the heck isn't my beast working again?

(yes I am starting in neutral)

I think it could be a neutral safety switch and I would check the fuses/bulbs for the tail lights.

Needs a ton of work!!

pull the steering column apart and check the wires for the o/d cancel button...they are known to chafe and short out over time...and that will keep blowing fuses until fixed

That is entirely beyond my scope of fixing things. I can't even get the radio back in the dash after hitting a chug hole and it bounced into my lap.
