I am looking at buying a code reader on ebay, doers anybody have any suggestions on what type/ model i should be looking for ? I would be looking for something economical

get an ultra gauge, its a complete monitor for all your vehicles specifications and on top of that it reads and clears your trouble codes (Check engine light)

i bought a elm 327 from amazon for $25-35. it hooks up to ur laptop and is a very small and effective program. reads codes, shows live data such as intake temp oxygen sensor lean vs rich, calculated load and more
