Default buyin a optimum yellowtop battery

battery finally croked on me this weeknd. its been a good one considering its ben in the truck since it rolled off the lot in 03 no complaints here. but im goin for the optimum yellowtop, anyone else have one of these?

yes I have one in my truck just FYI you gonna have to big fucking hammer the tray to get it to fit. the front lip of it needs to be bent down about 45deg

ha ha yeah, i had to bust out the BFH to get mine in too. Its been a good battery so far.

ya I love it unless the truck sits for a month then the sucker is dead lol really need to get a battery tender for this pig.

hahaha... the last time (and, by all accounts, it should be the last time!!) I bought a battery, I bought a yellowtop for the Ranger... the guy wouldn't "install" it, since it wouldn't fit...

I said, "..just bang out that front lip on the tray, and it'll fit." He wouldn't do it.

I then said, "do you have a hammer I could borrow for a minute, or are you going to give me back all my money and make me drive home to get mine, then come back?"

He brought me out a hammer. Two minutes later, I was driving out of the parking lot...
