it hasn't on mine. like i said, i've swapped mine multiple times and haven't had a problem.

the reason the check gauge light comes on is because the wtg pegs out to hot, or if your oil pressure gauge drops, or if your fuel is low. when the truck starts to over heat, the light will come on. it's probably done by resistance. when it gets out of its boundaries, it will trip the light.
