Sorry about that we think our supplier make a mistake with these bulbs, so we think that's the bulbs problem, so if we offer you $10 off would you like to keep these bulbs? However, you can ship them back for refund, please let us know.

I've heard you needed a load resistor. But I thought ep27 flasher eliminated that.

EP27 is the same thing as a resistor and will eliminate the hyper flash.

Stop buying led bulbs off ebay to start...lol

either get them from superbrightleds.com or v-leds.com

My entire truck and car are using v-leds and I've never had a problem with them. They are expensive yes, but honestly when it comes to it their stuff always works. Same with superbrightleds.

I've read way too many strories like this from ebay leds...

http://www.v-leds.com/3157-3156-LED/...orLanding/true

Switch backs aren't my thing but I have the same as the link above but all amber... you can fit the 92mm led version in our headlight because that's what I am running. I will get pics and a video up tonight of them.

I would have to say "stop buying plug-n-play LEDs" to start. Ebay, V-LEDs, Superbright LEDs. All the same.

None of these plug-n-play items will give you a safe brightness for daytime operation. Not to mention, there is no voltage regulation. The die's are cheap and the LEDs aren't very reliable.

For bulbs, the OEM ones are size 3157 maybe - I can't remember. I highly suggest NOT putting in an OEM based LED that just "plugs in"

If you want to go LED, the only way to do it is replace your turnsignal bulb setup with a PCB LED setup like this:

Your fooling yourself. They may create a smaller intense dot of light with very pretty color, but as far as filling the reflector with a fully bright light - none of the LEDs that plug into the factory sockets do this as well as the original bulbs that Ford fitted to our trucks..

For the tail lights L1224R's light up brighter than any plug and play bulb, and the installation is very easy actually, and very OEM like. Plus you are getting an OEM part when it comes to quality.

For my front turn signals, I took some photos showing the boards I made compared relative to the OEM incandescents. The incandescent is in the left (on the truck in the headlight) - board on the right.

My running lights are somewhat functional as headlights because when the running lights come on they actually do a decent job of illuminating the road (probably as good as a dingy old pair of halogen lights) - I can't get good photos of them at night, it just glares everywhere. This is why if I want a good photo I have to take them during the day.
