Angry turn signals

2002 Ranger. Turn signals stopped working suddenly. Hazard lights are fine. All fuses are OK and bulbs seem fine - at least they work with the hazard on. Have replaced the multifunction switch assembly as well as the directional indicator relay. At a loss as to what else it could be. Is there a separate flasher module for the directional signals and the hazards? If so, where would I find these. Nothing in the cabin fuse box except fuses. There's a small box under the dash where the directional relay is located as well as a high voltage box under the hood.
Thanks

The signal flasher is indeed separate from the hazard flasher. Both are located under the dash to the right of the steering column near the HVAC ducts. It will be in a little box with a cover that pops off. Make it easier to find, put the hazards on so it is clicking away when you go down there looking for it.

Yes. I found that box and that's where the Directionaal Indicator Relay is located - which I changed. The relay is blue and there are four other black plastic modules in the box. How do I tell which one it is direction flasher? Nothing in the owners manual. I sort of felt the each individually with the hazards on but I couldn't make heads or tails. But the hazard flasher noise is definately in that box. The only thing I could think of doing was to remove each module individually, record it's number, GOOGLE each number and the exact name of the part wil come up. Other than that, I don't know how to tell which one is which.
Thanks

I don't think there is a separate relay and flasher. It is just the one. I think it is the one all the way on the left from what I recall when I replaced mine.

OK. Well, I don't quite know what to do so I will pull out each module one at a time and GOOGLE its number. The module I replaced was the blue one at the far left in the box. I got the idea when I did a GOOGLE search on "5C3Z*11350*AA" and the search revealed "Directional Indicator Relay." I figure each one of the modules must have a number on it and if I search, one of them will come back with "Directional Flasher......something" to indicate that is the one related to the flashers. Another will return something referable to the Hazard lights. Without a diagram of the contents of the box, I don't know what else to do.
Thanks.
