Which Performance chip do I have ???
I just bought a used 1998 Ford Ranger Stepside and I was told it had a performance chip in it and to only use premium fuel.
How do I find out what chip I have?? And do I really need to only use premium Fuel??

You would have to take the chip out to determine what was installed

when i take the chip out will there be like a model name written on it or what am i looking for? sorry if these are dumb questions im not too car savvy
