Default Power Window

My window on the passenger side doesn't want to work anymore. How would I go about fixing this? What is the part number if you know? and how much should it cost?

Question Re: Power Window

I have a 2004 Ranger extended cab, windows on both doors don't work, occasionally they do, but they often get stuck in the down position. Is there a relay that goes bad or is it the switches in both doors? If I take the door panels off and use a wire to make contact outside of the switch will that determine if it is the switch?

If it's grinding, then the motor's working. If the motor was dead or stuck/jammed, you'd hear a 'tick' behind the door when pressing the window up/down button - means power is hitting the motor, but it won't turn. I haven't seen behind the panel, but I guess there could be cheap plastic parts that break. I was surprised to see the door latches made of plastic, so could be the same elsewhere. Oh and the motor/regulator could be held in by rivets that need to be drilled out (dunno if Ford uses those like GM). Then you'd have to find/buy nuts & bolts to replace them.
