Default Bad Relay???

I was installing my cab lights today with my uncle and when i was feeding the power wire through with a wire coat hanger my uncle touched the coat hanger to both battery posts and it sparked, now only my drivers side off road light works... everything else works fine though, we checked all the connections and everything is good and the fuse looks good as well as the bulb....

Could it be that the relay is bad?

Its possible you fried the relay for the off road lights. Did you check the inline fuse in the wiring as well for the lights?

If you have one relay powering two lights, then a relay problem will not cause one to work and the other to not work. If one of the lights comes on, then relay and all the wiring from the battery to that light is fine. So either the wire going to that light is bad or the bulb is bad. Quite simple.

Ya I checked the fuse and it looks good, the bulb also looks perfectly fine... There is no damage to the wire or anything

Well obviously it isn't the fuse because one light still works. So again the bulb is probably bad or your wire going to that bulb is bad. Looking fine and being fine are two different things.

Thanks for the help guys, I narrowed I down to the bulb, I plugged in the light to the other wires and it still didn't work so it must be the bulb, I will probably go get a new one today, also I will post shots o my cab lights later in a new thread so stay tuned!

update:
Got a new light for it and it works no problem
