Exclamation Third brake light problem

My third brake light doesn't work. the bulbs don't seem to be blowed. even the lights beside the brake light don't even work. Suggestions?
what would it be under in the fuse panel?

not sure just start pulling one by one and go from there better than sitting waiting for an answer here. also try swapping in another bulb just cause they dont look blown they could be

those lights next to the 3rd brake light are not back up lights. those are cargo lights, which come on when you turn the dash dimmer dial all the way up until it "clicks"

As has been stated, those are cargo lights next to it.

The brake light is on the same circuit at the primary brake lights. If its not working, and the normal brake lights do work, the bulb is probably burned out. Looking like it isn't burned out doesn't mean it isn't.

I use a 12 volt tester that you can find at any parts store . One side to ground and the other side to the bulb and see if the tester lites . If it does , then your bulb is gone , if it does not then its in the wiring . Maybe a bad ground or a broken wire . I remember hearing on my 2001 something like this from other guys that the lites were problematic . Could be wrong as it was a while ago too .

That procedure doesn't make much sense.

If you have multimeter, you can use the continuity mode to test the bulb itself. And you can use the DC mode to test the circuit and socket.

Or just buy a $1.50 bulb....
