Default CB Radio Parts Questions.

i picked up this old cobra for free from a friend, but it doesnt have a mounting bracked, anntenna, or mike mounting bracket. i can make the radio mounting bracket, and buy a whip antenna, but where would i find a mike mount.

it also has a PA system but no speaker, best place to buy one?

and how should i wire the power wires in?

I just typed CB radio in the search bar to see what I could find on how to install it. My Grandpa gave me his old Cobra radio today that looks almost exactly like yours, how ironic. If I find out any info I will let you know!

Alright so I did find out some info as far as wiring goes. I don't know how much you already know, so I will just tell ya everything. Basically all you would need for this old cobra is an antenna, coaxial antenna cable, and a cigarette adapter as your main power source. You can pick up that adapter at a Radio shack. Then, mount your CB how you want it. Run your coaxial under floor mats and carpet to the back of the cab in your truck. There should be some plugs or some sort of space under the carpet by your tire jack holder that you can run the cable outside underneath the truck, and then up behind the cab on the outside and to the antenna's (that is if you are planning on mounting the antenna's in the front of your pickup bed.)
