Default No action at A/C clutch - steps?

Guys I looked thru all the wiring diagrams but still can't tell what I'm supposed to expect at the a/c clutch on my 95 2.3L. Should I jump +12 and ground directly to the 2 pin connector? Or is the clutch body grounded? A/C was working when I bought the truck 2 years ago, then clutch started cyling on and off even when a/c not on (using vent mode only) so I unplugged the 2 pin connector at the clutch, and now nothing.

Before you go ahead and start disconnecting anything, put everything back to it was before you touched it. You need to remember that it could be low refrigerant, most of the time there is a sensor that detects the refrigerant which tells the compressor to kick on, most of the time it stops detecting it because the refrigerant levels starts to lower from it not being recharged, in your case this is probably the problem, what you need to do is bring it to a shop and have them vaccum and recharge your system.

If you don't have hi side/low side gauges, your kind of SOL since that's usually the first step in diagnosing anything with a/c. If your pressure is off it cuts the clutch signal

^exactamundo, the worst thing you could possibly do is assume.
