Default electric fan question

questionhow big of a fan can I put in there? I have a 17 inch one if it will fit...

I forget what size my fan is. If you have it, why not just put it in there and see?

its at my dads, i havent had a chance to check it out. he bought a universal 17 inch push/pull fan for his 78 bronco but decided to go a different route. he said if it fits i can have it.

Oh cool. Well I'm pretty sure it will fit. Mine is either 16 or 17. And it could fit larger.

thats what i wanted to hear, i went wheeling last weekend, and ran her pretty hard, this week she tried over heating on me twice, i wasnt sure if it was a stuck thermostat or burnt up fan clutch, or if it was a leaky head gasket or something... today i went to erics house and blew the radiator out to clear out the fins, quite a bit fell out so hopefully that was the problem. still want the electric fan tho!
