Default Remote Starter Solenoid Question

I am wiring the starter into my 302 engine. I purchased a solenoid exactly like the one pictured. I have 2 wires that went to my original 3.0 liter starter, one from the battery and one from the ignition switch. I bought another wire to go from the large post on the solenoid to the starter and wire from the ignition coil to the solenoid. My question is since i am using a points distributor system, do i hook the wire from the ignition switch to the (S) on the solenoid and the wire from the positive side of the coil to the (I) on the solenoid? Any help would be appriciated

Also i am getting no power reading on my voltmeter from my key when i turn it to start it. i'm thinking PATS problem because the theft light was blinking after i pulled the engine and computer, what do I do about that? Any help at all is greatly appriciated

You only want that to energize in start, since its the STARTER relay. So... I'd go with S.
