Default Electrical Gremlins

Any one have these problems: Inside dome light just won't turn off and the door ajar light will come on. Some times it will take about 15-30 min. to turn off and at other times it will just turn off normaly. It's distracting at night with the light is on. The windshield wipers will just turn on and make one swipe and then turn off. I sure would like to fix these problems as it turns the wife into something demonic when it happens. LOL

That is creepy man. I would A) check the wiper switch and lube the door latch B) find out of the previous owner died in it or anyone else or C) Burn the truck in a ritualistic manner in which you can exorcise the demon

K can I just step in suggest that you read up on what a GEM module is. It's a single module that, upon experiencing problems, can cause apparently unrelated problems. It's like an electrical ground hub. In fact many people who have had one go bad report being abducted by aliens.

Don't know the cutoff date but SJBs have taken there place and function.

Thanks guys. Gonna lube everything i can lube to the door and when I hear them gremlins choking and gasping for air, I will know it is fixed. If not then a ritualistic fire is in order. LOL

Update on them Demons: Sprayed some kind of Orange stuff that my neighbor gave me, PB rust remover in a yellow spray can, and after about a week I can say that the Demons are gone. Inside light turns off like it should . Now to work on the windshield wiper switch. Thanks for the help guys.
