Is there any dim in the lights when you turn the key to "start"

And also,im pretty sure if the ECM detects that the engine isnt running, it will shut down the fuel pump until it detects the engine is running.
(Thats how it worked on my friends truck atleast.)
But do you have an aftermarket battery clamp? On mine I had the same problem, If you do, check that its tight enough, because it might not be making contact with the power wire that goes to the starter solenoid.

All the lights work, no dimming and the theft light on the dash has a rapid flashing and doesn't go out when key is on. The test light only flashes a brief second when key is turned to start. A few monthe before it was parked the horn quit working and the airbag light came on. Although the horn still works if you push the panic button on the remote but remote no longer locks or unlocks the doors. I don't find the anti theft devise any where. I've taken the entire dash apart testing wires and cleaning the mildow out of everything cuz while it sat for 4 months it drew moisture in the cab. I believe it's the theft devise or in the ignition. Ford can't even give me any answers.
