Default Please help, headlights out!

Hi,
I need big help. My headlights don't work on my 94 Ranger.
I installed a new headlight switch, a new combo turn&wiper , hazard , highbeam switch.
Using a tester it shows no juice getting to the headlight connector that plugs into the headlight.
I checked the fuse, the pcm relay.
I took out the dashboard and went thru every inch of wire that was back there.
I'm tierd man, I'm burnt out. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks , Vern

I know this sounds crazy but wiggle the turn signal lever around and switch from hi beam to low beams a few times. The turn signal lever (multi function switch) in my 93 was bad and would cause the headlights to not work sometimes. Usually if I wiggled the lever around a bit they would come on

Thanks , but I put a new turn signal switch in and I even did what you had suggested with the new one out of frustration.

I think I am having the same problem. I had to replace the flasher relay yesterday, and today I noticed that my low beams are not working unless I turn on the high (which always work) and back to low. Also, turning on the flashers will cut the low beams out.

I don't know if this has always been the case. I got the truck 3 weeks ago and have not yet driven it at night. But I suspect it may have something to do with the flasher replacement? (got it from autozone and I am skeptical if it is the correct replacement)

Thanks in advance

The hazards flashers, signal flashers, and headlights are all on three different independent circuits. If they are conflicting with one another, then you probably have a messed up trailer lighting harness or defunct multi-function switch.

For the OP, did you check the fuse or actually change it out for a different one?

I changed it out. How do you check a relay?

There are no relays that have anything to do with the problems you're having.

I ain't following you. Don't they call it a flasher relay?

----------

Vern, could it be that the line(s) are cut to the headlights if you are not getting power there? Can you trace the wires back to the next wire and test that one?
