But then, had STL not posted the owners manuals in here, I would not have one. The previous owners (at least 4 before me) seemed to keep all the other books in the glove box, and even the window sticker. But they lost the OM

I'm not sure I understand. If mine was a "Fleet Truck" it must have been the boss' if the Window sticker in the glove box is true. But come to think about it, I never did actually compare the VIN numbers on the two. lol

fleet.ford has owners manuals for the vehicles going back to about the mid 90's. Fleet truck is more like what you find in a carfax report, where fleet means it was leased or a rental (same thing other than who maintains it for the real owners benefit) and the value is subject to being adjusted downward for this. FWIW, I did have a Dodge as a rental a few years ago and the window sticker was in the glovebox. And on it was a package for.......fleet vehicles. Nice, a forever *branded* vehicle before it even left the lot.
