Default No Start

Having a hell of a time with this truck!
I've replaced the battery, fender solonoid, starter solonoid
and checked the maxi fuse and the ignition switch with a test light.
Talked to the local Ford dealer and found out that I do not have fusible links.
I've jumped the fender solonoid

What am I missing?

I had it started a couple of times yesterday...

this wiring diagram seems to say otherwise about there being no fusible links. Take a look I guess just in case it helps.

Cheers

Is there any way to test the neutral safety switch, it is on the clutch pedal?

For details, I'm not getting any starter action. Fender solonoid jumped across the little pole activates the fuel system, but not the starter.
Going back out in a few minutes to double check my tests.

Tested Alt, starter, and Ign module at Autozone today, all good. The only thing constant in all this gremlin chasing is the battery cables... so I am going to replace them tomorrow.
Maxi fuse looks good, but replaced it anyways, as I had one in the toolbox, getting ign now, Neutral Safety is good, as I took it out after it started. It quit on me half way through my test run, but that was due to the battery being down.
Starting a new job Monday, so will buy a new battery soon.

if its a stick, I would imagine you need to step on the clutch to get it started, correct? check the electrical connection for the pedal, you may have to unplug it and turn it around to get a good look. I had a similar problem with my truck, but it is an A/T but the wire loom had the "option" for clutch pedal. and guess what? the wire loom came loose and the insulation on wire rubbed off and was grounding. hope it helps.

Cool! Glad you got it up and running. The cables were probably damaged when things got shorted. Glad you figured it out mate!
