Exclamation hella lights stopped working

Hello Fellow ranger owners,
I just picked up a pair of hella black magic lights and they've been working just fine for about a month. Today I decided to relocate the switch and when I connected everything back up the lights wouldn't come back on. I double and triple checked to make sure all was connected but I just can't figure out what went wrong. Any ideas?? the only thing I think it could be would be the inline fuse but I'm not sure how to tell if it's bad. thanks guys.

I don't believe so, they're all colored differently so it's easy to tell them all apart.

Just pull out the fuse and see if it is blown. How did you wire these up?

Any chance you could be slightly more vague?

There should be an inline fuse on the primary power to the relay. And there should be an inline fuse on whatever is powering your switch (unless you're switching the relay ground). Either one of them could be the problem.

Well, blindly putting in a higher amp fuse isn't really the answer unless it was too low to begin with. The switch circuit should be 3 amp at the most.

For the primary power to the relay:
Two 55 watt lights should be fused at 15 amps
Two 100 watt lights should be fused at 20 amps
Two 130 watt lights should be fused at 25 amps

haha sorry that wasn't very descriptive I know, yeah there are two inline fuses. One going to the battery and one to power the switch. I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

ok so it's exactly as this picture except i tapped the green into a 12v cig wire instead of the parking lamp

thanks again for the input guys

I have the same exact problem...just installed a pair of hella lights on my truck today, they turned on and everything seemed good to go. I then upgraded the bulbs from 55w to 100w each, and they turned on and were brighter. Then I remounted the switch to inside the cab and when I turned them on again, they did not work.
I checked over everything (except the 2 inline fuses) and could not figure it out.
I thought the hella wiring harness would handle the stronger bulbs fine, but I guess not because I now think it's the fuses. For this setup, do I need 2 20 amp fuses?
(one is the power source to the relay and one the power to the switch)
