Re: abs/brakelight fuse blowing (again)
Here's a picture with that rubber boot pushed out of the way. The wires to the O/D Cancel Switch are the black twisted pair that pass into the shifter.

okay that looks relatively simple but i see it goes out under the dash which would mean id have to remove my dash if the problem is on the other side!
im going to definitely use all my spare time getting to this weekend even if it means driving with no cover on for a few days

Yes, the wiring goes under the dash but the problem occurs up near the shifter where the wires flex.
