It is, you just need to figure out if that is the issue, from there you can fix it I'm sure. Otherwise the hundreds of the rest of us that have done it would have had issues too

problem was solved (i think). i dont think it was the blinker mod itself but the flasher program thingy (what the issue was idk) but anyways i did undo the blinker mod

i took apart the blinker mod and put all the wires back to the way they were...thats all

Ah. Well then it didn't have anything to do with the flasher. Something about the wiring you did, it didn't like.

Either it was wired incorrectly, or it something was exposed and shortting out.

well as i said earlier, the ground wire for the side marker (black) was cut and left exposed as per the how to. IF i was to retry it....would i be a complete idiiot?

i taped everything up cept that wire....

i was not using the blinker or headlights when the fuse blew

so it blew today (again) and this time it was when i was braking into the driveway the only thing different that i do when pulling into my driveway vs any other normal stop is that my seatbealt is taken off while im doing that...that couldnt be connected could it?

It could be that wire. It makes sense it was while you were braking. So I believe you need to check all the wires that deal with your brake lights.
