Ever since the truck was new in 97 the dome light stuck on, so the old man just pulled the fuse to save the grief of a drained battery. im not sure what other lights or things may be affected by the fuse bn pulled, did notice it has no back up lights, anyone heard of a sticky dome light on that yr truck? and what i can do to solve it cause id love to have one, it works when the fuse is in, but it still sticks on. any info would be great. 3rd brake light n cargo lights out too, may just be bulbs on that one, or the missing fuse, will check bulbs on those in the a.m!

yes it is a problem since ford went away from the push button in the door frame to the latch design we have now... to solve the problem you would probably have to get another sensor from ford pull the latch and handle outta the door... or you could do as the most of the rest of us do and load up the latch with wd-40 open and shut the door a few times and then presto works well... have to redo it about every 6months to a year... now if you have power windows the auto will not work without that fuse as well as the cargo light and the dome light that's all the lights that i know of that fuse controling.. as far as your reverse lights it's probably just a couple of burnt out bulbs....
