Try connecting the relay power wire to the battery. mine did the same thing at first, then connected power and ground to battery = no static. used to do it with my CB also!

I gotcha, I am still working with, because the patent philips kits I got, I didn't like at all. They looked like the same design as the VLED kits (Cheap China Made). So now they are going to set me up with there OEM kits where you can choose the Denso or Matsushita ballasts. I choose the Matsushita ballasts because they were slighly cheaper but look a whole lot better than the cheap China made ballasts.
