Do Our trucks need resistors for LED brake Lights and reverse lights or can i just plug them in and run them..? I just night-shaded my tails even darker and wanted to put brighter bulbs in..
Thanks in advance..

Re: LED brake light "bulbs'
yeah i know i can get those, and i almost bought a set today, but the guy said if they don't work, it might be because i need resistors.. so i held off on it. They were the right Part number and everything, but i was just seeing if any Electrical savy people can jump in on this one and help me out..

They might blink faster, but they will work

Re: LED brake light "bulbs'
LED's are no problem, just plug the bulbs in like a regular bulb.
The issue is usually the OEM flasher. It sees the lower resistance of the led's & thinks the bulb is burned out, so it blinks super fast or Hyper Flash.
Grab a good quality EP27 electronic flasher & you should be good to go with as many led plug-in bulbs as you want.
