Try disconnecting the battery terminals again? Probably wont do anything but you could try it

edit - nevermind now that the truck wont start. Did you possibly wire something wrong?

Hmmm. Possibly a short or something? Maybe check your fuses too.I'm not really well versed in this sort of thing. Good luck! I hope you solve this issue

Did you by chance hook the battery up backwards?

sounds like you may have a bad battery cable, or connection, make sure everything is clean, you can use some coke (soda) LOL, to clean the terminals

No. I think the flashing lights is symptomatic of toasting something in the security, GEM, or smart junction box. Your probably not seeing the hazards. You're seeing the parking lights flash, which are tied into it for this purpose.

I don't know, but if you have a bad connection, it can make your shit do all kinds of crazy stuff. I'd clean the cables and terminals really good, and try it.

----------

A fuse can be checked with a multi meter set on OHM's

If you have a multi meter, you might want to check the voltage of your battery, sometimes the posts/terminal can shear off on the inside if they are stressed to much when taking off a cable that is stuborn or to tight
