Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could tell me if a 2004 fuse box under the dash behind the kick plate on the passenger side with the power options is the same a 2007 fuse box that's underneath the dash?

the box is probably the same, fuse arrangement may not be

It looks like the 2007 is the same which is a good thing. (I can't believe Ford actually didn't change it)

Bad News ... Ford did actually change that fuse box in 2007.
They changed the #7 fuse to illuminate interchangeability of parts. (Those bastards)
I got it home and installed it, and not only did my truck not start, but the windshield wiper fluid started coming out every time I tried to start the truck.
They also changed the color of them from almond to black.
Does anyone think a 2005 fuse box would work?

The reason I didn't get a 2004 fuse box is because the JR I was at didn't have any 2004 Rangers. They had a 2005, but it had the manual windows and door locks.
There's another salvage yard that I'm going to try tomorrow.

Rearranging them would do no good. Can't you see on the manual or my picture that the #7 5 AMP fuse is missing from the #7 slot?
It's the Headlamp Illumination indicator on the 2004 fuse box

#7 is missing from the slot because the 2007 fuse box doesn't have a Headlamp Illumination indicator for some mysterious reason.

i didnt bother to look at the manuals lol
