94 OEM Fog Light Repacement

Hi,I am a new member.Has anyone have any suggestions for new fog lights for my 94 xlt. The OEM Hellas are no longer made,and I lost the glass lens out of one of them,and neither side lites up anymore. I did find a pair of (chinese?) aftermarket lights for about 90 bucks,but if I am going to replace anyway,should I upgrade? All thoughts appreciated!

I just got a set of THESE

They're just the glass lenses, metal reflectors & bulbs, but they also sell the entire light assembly too. They fit 93-97 Rangers.

If the back part/bracket/housing is still good, these will pop right in place.

They're made in China, but most everything is now.

The only difference in these & the OEM Hella's is these have American imprinted on the lens instead of Hella, the back side is silvery chrome rather than black & the bulb holder clip is a little funky.

If your Ranger has this type of fog light switch... (I forget when the newer style dash came out)

I make a wiring kit that will allow the OEM fog switch to operate pretty much any type of light.

It could be something as simple as a blown fuse, bad connection, bad switch or something shorting out from the missing lens.

Go aftermarket if you cant do the new lense. Get the wiring kit from Buggman to do an OEM switch and mod it in. Those wiring kits work great!

Great info , I need to check for power and then decide which direction to go. I have a rocker type switch I believe,my truck is at the airport so I cant check now. Thanks again.

Dont use a rocker switch, spend a few extra dollars and do it right and clean with buggmans gear....I'm waiting on the money to get some of his stuff too...
