I've spent two days spraying, slamming, and manipulating all of the latches on the 4 doors and I still can't get the dash "door ajar" light to go out. I do not have a "chime alarm" indicating the door is ajar either.
I have found that the bulbs have been removed from the headliner dome light, would that create an "non circuit" indication to the system that the door is ajar? Being lazy, I just haven't replaced these bulbs.
The previous owner said the dome lights wouldn't go out because the door ajar indicator was illuminated, so he removed them, which makes since.
Is there an instructional somewhere on this site that shows the steps to go through on this "lubing the latch" procedures?
It seems a straight forward operation but I must be doing something wrong.
