Default Anyone running/ ran 100w HIDs?

I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ALL THE BULLSHIT "THATS TOO MUCH WATTAGE BLAH BLAH"

If you are running or have ran 100w HIDs in the past, lets hear some details

My distributor for HID kits offers 75 and 100w HIDs, but no one has ever bought any, and I am about to put some in the 9" off-road lights on my truck. I just wanted to see if anyone has experience with these in the past

thats way too much wattage for headlights. I dont even hear of Professional Off Road racers Using 100w in their Running lights! Im not trying to be a dick about this but what the hell are you using them for?

First thing I would be concerned with would be melting the lamps, those things must produce a lot of heat.

He specified for use in his offroad lights, so I'm guessing he intends to use them offroading.

I would Hope so! but like I said. I never hear from pros I know and work with about using 100w Lighting. Honeslty. You will never ever be going fast enough to need that light.

Melting the lamps is my main concern considering my ballasts ate internal on the lights. I will have the ballasts external for the first testing

Honestly, my 55w HID kits that I have in my 9" Offroad lights now are more than bright enough. It's just the sound of "100 watt HIDs" was too damn tempting

They will work just as a normal HID kit. It's the same thing, just a higher wattage

PM me for a quote on a 100 or 75w HID kit if you are interested. NOT FOR HEADLIGHTS OR STREET USE
