For halogens yes. He was talking about HID's. In which case, the wattage is determined by the ballast.

The bulb type will not effect the light output in a HID. They are all the same. The ballast and color temperature effect the light output

Sylvanias have a year limited coverage, shows how much faith they have in their products, considering how much they rape you price-wise.

When "cheap" lights like Eurolights have better warranties than sylvania, one could wonder why.

Got the silverstar ultra bulbs in...the 9005 fits just as good as the stock bulbs in the fog lamps. def not as bright as HIDs
