Default Another what is this thread
Lightly detailing the ranger today, and came across this wireing near the passenger sun visor mount.
Never noticed it before. My multimeter broke last month, so I am not sure if there is power to it or not. I reaserched my vin# and truck did not come with a lighted passenger visor, so I am at a loss.

Un screw the visor and see where its going. Just looks like someone tried wiring something before and then removed it. But I can confirm its not OEM.

Defiantly not OEM probably something a previous owner put in for a light or GPS or something along those lines

Your probably right about GPS.
PO was a home security company.
Gonna keep it there no matter what.
Might be pretty useful
that or i just thought about one of those traffic adviser things ive seen a few that just hang on the visor

Hmm. Still thinking about what Im gonna do with it.
Secret project potential has got my brain buzzing

If nothing else it might be nice to have wires ready to go for when I get an OHC!
