It's because of the LED's. You need to replace the flasher with one that isn't load dependent (sometimes aka heavy duty). I think the model number is EP27 at most autoparts stores like Advance.

Yup, EP27 electronic flasher should solve the problem...

Unless one of your other bulbs is still incandescent, then it could be burned out causing the hyper flash.

The EP27 can be found in most auto stores for about $15, or on evilBay for a few bucks less sometimes.

It basically looks like a relay:

Should be under the dash, around the steering column. My OEM flasher was blue.

Do you have regular incandescent bulbs in the front turn signals too? If one of the elements is burned out, it can cause the hyper flashing.

It would only be affected by the front/rear turn signal bulbs... unless you have a 2 bulb setup rather than the 3 bulb setup in the tail lights.

The reverse lights would not effect this. Only the rear stop/tail/turn and the front parking/turn.

No they're not. The reverse light is a seperate bulb on it's own seperate circuit.

You're trying to hard here. Trust me. It is because of your LED's. You can not use the stock flasher with LED's or it will interpret it as a burned out bulb and go to rapid flash mode. You need to replace the the turn signal flasher with an EP27 or equivilent flasher and it will work fine.

Pull out flasher. Plug in new flasher. Enjoy normal flash-rate

Actually, the worst part is getting up under the dash to change it.

Ya that part is kinda a pain as well. You can take the kick panel off to access ut better. However it takes longer
