Default help to find constant 12 volts

I have a ford ranger 1997 2wd 3.0 v6, could you guys point to me how to get a constant 12 volts for my aftermarket doorlocks, i already wired everything including ground except for the constant 12 volts, i have an inline fuse to it, i bought a test light and an analog multimeter but could someone show or tell me where to start please thank you

pull it from the ignition harness.. there will be constant power there. (under steering column)
