Taurus E-fan help
I bought a 2 speed taurus e-fan out of a 94 taurus 3.8L yesterday. After reading through a LOT of threads about how to hook it up, I think I have a pretty good idea about how to get it done.
I will be picking up a fan controller from autozone or pep boys, that has a temperature probe. I am also going to order 3 70Amp Relays, 1 50Amp manual reset circuit breaker, 20 ft of 10 gauge wire, 3 other 30 amp relays (for some other mods), and some quick splices.
I am going to have hook it up similar to another thread I found, except I will tap into a wire on the A/C compressor:
Basically my plan is to have the low speed come on when the temp gets up to a certain temp (operating temp), and kick off once it cools down enough. Also, the high speed will come on when the A/C is turned to the on position, kicking off the low speed (obviously). All this will also be turned on after the key is on, so I do not kill my battery.
Am I missing anything? or does it sound like I have my shit together? lol
Any other parts I might need, or not need? Also, I know people recommend that circuit breaker... but I don't see where it needs to be hooked up in any diagram, any thoughts?
