91 ranger 2.9 4x4 starter problem?

Ok heres what I got and here is what its doing! New battery,starter, and relay. When I turn the key my relay on the finder will buzz/click. Along with that it drains my battery and makes my cabels get HOT! Only getting 4 volts on the starter side of the relay. So I got another relay and the same thing is going on! Any please Advise!

Come on people! I thought this was a ford forum! No one has had this happen or have any ideas????

Clicking and buzzing relays are because of low voltage. The cables are getting hot because its flowing a few hundred amps trying to turn a starter that won't turn. Is it possible the engine is seized? If it's a stick shift, can you pop the clutch to start it?

Ya I can pop the clutch and start it rite up! The motor is easy to turn. The starter isnt even trying to ingage!

check your computer. maybe its malfunctioning

Not the puter! It wouldnt cause this!

If you can pop start it, then it sounds like your starter is bad. The wires getting hot tell me it is trying but unable to spin
