just pick a fuse, that is what we did or you can just ground it off the frame & run a jumper wire to the postive on the battery

You can't just "wire it to a fuse". First does the radio two or three wires and do you want it turn on and off with the key or stay on all the time and kill your battery?

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...iM9V707iZa-U9Q Google "fuse connectors" & you will find a small brass tab that will piggyback your fuses in the fusebox. make sure you hook it up on the normally "out" side of the fuse & that way the fuse will protect your cb radio. You can then hook up the radio to a fuse that becomes "hot" when the key is on.

I've never been a fan of tapping into the fuse box.
I'd run a wire through the firewall (using an existing grommet) to the battery, install a fuse at the battery, then run the wire up to your CB.
Make sure to have a fuse at the battery & a fuse at the CB wouldn't hurt either.

Better safe than sorry. A few minutes of wiring could save you from burning your truck up.

Leaving your CB on over night will not kill your truck, I've left mine off for two days and it still started right up.

That all depends on the radio. Not all CB's are the same.
