Default TCC output to shut off e-fans?

My taurus e-fan is wired to turn on high when a/c is on. The truck actually runs cooler when driving down the highway with the fan off and probably saves mileage. I want the e-fan to shut off automatically when driving on the highway. It looks like the TCC solenoid output becomes ground when activated. The TCC should only activate when the auto trans is in overdrive at highway speeds.

Anyone see a problem with using the TCC output from the computer to also control relays for the e-fan to automatically shut off fans at highway speeds?

I would feel more comfortable wiring something to the speed signal that goes to the cluster that activates at a certain voltage level.
