Default Headlight Problem

Hi guys, I've looked around and found a few threads that are close, but no cigar to my problem. I have a 2002 Ranger XLT. It has DRLs but they are starting to flicker. I think it could be one of two things. Either the DRL module is faulty or... I was under the truck and noticed one of the wires is nicked and the internal strands are starting to oxidize, possibly causing a faulty connection. Either way, I need to un-hook the wire bundle from the DRL module to fix it but I'm not sure how to do it. It seems pretty straight forward that I just press the tab and un-hook the connector, but it's not coming off. Does anyone have a picture (or even better, a video) of what the module and connector look like after they are disconnected? I just hate driving around with my lights flickering at everyone.
