Cig lighter PLUS 12V No work
Awhile ago I somehow blew the fuse for the cig lighter and the 12V accessory. Looking in the owners manual saw it was fuse 17 and replaced it... Now it dosent work... The Cig lighter is dead along with the 12V... Old fuse looked good but replaced it anyways. No luck.. Is there a fuse behind the radio bezle that may need to be swaped? Suggestions?

Nope. The two of them are on different fuses. The non lighter plug is on the same fuse as the OBD2 port so check that fuse as well. The only thing that could kill both is if you managed to yank the wires off the back of both of them. That would be unlikely.

Check for a short....check fuses again. Make sure you are getting good ground.

Went out and looked for the wires and the were all good... Hooked to both.. Could it be that both are just done and wont work? The OBD2 port works cause I had a friend diagnose some things a couple weeks back

The fuses. Check the fuses for BOTH. Just cause it worked a few weeks ago doesn't mean it isn't blown now.

Pretty sure there's more than one fuse for that. Theres not many fuses man, start pulling haha

I had it backwards.
17 = Lighter and OBD2 port 22 = Aux plug

Mine died the same thing, I bumped the 12v fuse up 5 Amps and that works fine Now as for my cig lighter that trick didn't work but I don't smoke so no worries lol
