Default Truck will not start

Ok guys so this morning i went out to my truck to start it and all i got was gage readings then click. SO i thought loose cables or dirty, so i cleaned them and retightened them and still click.Tried again and got no guage readings or click. SO i thought dead battery and therefore i put a new one in and same still got the same problem of guage readings and then click. Tried again and got no guage readings or click.

Then i thought the starter was bad so i used a screwdiver on the starter solenoid and a little bit of spark so i knew the starter was good.

I went inside and listened and i herd a clicking soung under the dash and that the theft light was blinking. It has factory alarm. When i hit the unlock button the locks spaz out. So i am thinking that the anti theft is messed up and thinks the truck is stolen so it wont start.

What do yall think i have to take the truck to work monday morning, and it is my only source of transportation at the moment.

Spazing out locks and all the other symptoms are low voltage. Either the battery is dead or the cables are not making good contact.

Something is not right. That is all low voltage symptoms. Trace all the cables looking for a problem.

No lights at all no dash, corners, hi or low beams, third brake light or brake lights.

no fuses are blown so i am going to check the cables and make sure that they are ok

The starter has nothing to do with this. Don't waste your time. Battery cables, the distro box under the hood, connections, etc.

Check your cables again. Make sure there is no sign of swelling what so ever. Cause sometimes that corrosion could make it to the bottom of the cable and you may never even see it untill you double check. If there is the least bit swelling, Change that cable. Also on the starter, take a hammer and tap on it while someone tries to crank it.

x2, you might try changing the cables just for the hell of it, get good ones tho, and they arent that expensive.
