Default New truck...new issues

I just bought a 2002 Ranger XLT ExtraCab... and of course it came with some minor flaws id like to fix....

1) the radio when turned on only lights up a green light, no sound no nothing .

2)The marker on the rev clock is all crazy i start the truck and it goes to 6000 rpm an back to 3000 up to 5000 and so on..... and the engine is probable at idle..

3) There are 2 light at the front the wont light up theres the main light and there is a smaller one right next to it on both sides (its transparent) but they wont light up...

4) I need the dome light... but cant find it on line..

5) a small part of the instrument panel wont light up... are there several bulbs iluminating it?? or just one??

Thanks for your help!!!

1. May need to clean the IAC and the MAF to get the truck to ideal right

2. Did u check to see if the speakers are there for the radio

3. 2 lights on the front are probably ur turn signals are these the ones u are talking about marked in white

4. There is a guy in the classified section selling some mustang domelights they will fit right in to your truck

5. There are I believe 6 lights for the instrument cluster

3) no actual it the light on the other side towards the end on the front panel..

U can clean the IAC and maf your self

Those lights on the end are just parking lights and they may be busted or burnt out
remove your headlight housing and u will see the 2 bolts to remove that housing for those lights

Instrument cluster lights can be changed 1 at a time but while u have it taken apart easier to go ahead and change all of them

Thems the outer turnsignals and boy are they fun!
You're gonna need to remove the little black dress covers from the top of the headlight assemblies and you'll see a little oddly placed piece of flat black stamped steel. You'll need to locate both of them for each light. They are real easy to see as you have to put a finger under the top of it and coerce it up about 1-1.5 inches it is a slide lock that holds the headlights in place. Once you have them up look carefully at the backside and pull the headlight assembly out freeing one lock up at a time they can be tricky as there is not definitive stop for them that aligns the locking guides and the hole the headlight thingamajobber goes through. then once you have the headlight out you'll see another of those tiny dark bolts holding the turn signal assembly in place. HTH
