Default Idling problem

I have this problem on and off. I have a standard trans. Some times when turning on the ignition the truck barely idles and then dies. I will try restarting it a few times and then its fine and it will be that way for a day or two and then back to not idling again. The odd thing is when it does happen is that the check engine light does not come on. I have noticed when I unplugged the MAF that the truck will idle but I have to rev it up to get going. I have cleaned both the IAC and the MAF. Which is more likely to be the problem, the MAF, the IAC, or something else?

Thanks for any help

Default Re: Idling problem

Mine did that, you might have the same problem. It turned out to be the EGR valve
was clogged, or your MAF is bad.
