If you have power to the socket, and they aren't working................. Blown Bulbs.

Unless you're not getting enough power. What are you reading voltage wise at the connector?

You're going to have to be more specific than it's getting power everywhere.

I tested the plug-ins to the the bulb from the ballasts and they have power. from the housing to the ballast. all the prongs in the plug-ins. and i tested the wires at the base of the bulb as well. All have power.

I didnt get a reading. I just have a test light. But why would it work for awhile and just stop. I have a STRONG battery so idk if power is the problem.

And is it possible both bulbs can become blown at once?

Do you have a relay powering the ballasts from the battery, or do you have the ballasts getting power directly from the existing headlight wires?

Do this. Disconnect everything. Connect the power (+ & -) directly to the battery. If there is a separate input to tell them to turn on, connect that as well. See if they work.

I'm not positive about the relay. It's a DDM slim ballast kit. there is a black box that hooks up to the battery that runs the the ballast that runs to the bulb.

I'm not understanding the question.

well mine were wired backwards, there are some definite flaws with the ddm stuff, i think thats why they are so cheap. but i would look into fuses, if its the plug and play (not the hi/lo combo) i would think it blew a fuse...

Thats the first thing I checked and it was in perfect condition.

hmmm did you get the hi/lo combo or just the regulars?

your other option is find someone else who has them and plug in their ballast, but the likelyhood of both going bad at the same time sounds slim...

next i would look for loose connections in the factory connections, or get someone to help you who knows how to work a multimeter.

If you go back to stock you will have no such problems.

yeah it took me like over an hour to install my hi/lo HIDs from them, the directions suck. i would check that little blue adapter and check the grounds and battery connections, mine the little power and ground eyelet ends were all messed up so i threw my own on cause the ground broke....
