when i was putting my truck back together i noticed a grounding strap going from the cab to the frame was rotted in half. i stripped a peice of romex and used a covered solid coper wire and a couple of self tapping bolts to replace it. i would think that should work fine. a ground is a ground right?

yeah you have 3 strap grounds on the truck, if one is diconnected it wont hurt anything. I cut one when I did my body lift and left it
