My 2003 ranger constantly shows the door ajar on my dash after I start the truck.
If i fasten my seat belt before I turn the the car on, it doesn't appear.
Any ideas?

That's weird. I know some have had problems with the latch inside the door getting stuck and causing similar problems but the seat belt thing doesn't make any sense to me?

the sensor switch is on the door lock cylinder, they go bad, mine did it and the dome light stayed on, I pulled the door panel and cut the wires, cause I cld not get to the plug to disconect.....

Some crazy shit happend like that with my dads old 2005 chevy 2500. We pulled up at home one night and shut the truck off and all the lights stayed on. The dome light, headlights, cabin light, and tail lights stayed on. Get this, we took the keys out, unhooked the battery, and pulled the fuse and the lights stayed on! It was something I have never even heard of before.

I had a buddy that happened to on a Buick the horn turned on and even after a battery disconnect the thing kept blaring LOL

I guess it's a random fluke then. I may take it to the shop depending if it gets worse.
